Every once in a while I've signed up for a dating app and then deleted it, and I'd admit the commonality between all those times was probably that I was unusually lonely. Now, I've just decided I'll meet women in real life unless something changes with dating apps. And asking women out in person requires a lot more confidence to do, especially since dating apps are probably the default right now.
So I'd take a guess that men on dating apps are - slightly - less confident than the average single guy. I mean, some of the guys who don't use dating apps are confident because they're semi-sociopathic "players," but on average...
