I definitely felt better watching it while not paying directly for it. But considering streaming's importance in the long run, I'm not sure it's a good idea for studios treat it as a direct-to-VHS style dumping ground. I also think the movie would have played better in a crowded theater, where the adrenaline might have papered over some cracks. On the other hand, if the filmmakers had known what the medium would be, they might have focused more on characters and less on CGI spectacle, which probably would have improved the movie immensely.
