I directly stated in my original article that I did not know why this issue occurred. Months ago, I found out it was an issue with Medium. I then quickly updated the article to directly state multiple times that this is because of a flaw in Medium, not because of something Better Marketing did. I have always been very clear about all the information I knew about this topic.

I absolutely never intended to insinuate anything, and only one other person out of many seems to have felt that I did. I don’t think they all just misread what I said, especially since they understood what I intended to say. Brittany Jezouit did fairly object to my original headline, but nothing else, and I immediately changed that after her comment; when I’d originally written it, I didn’t know other publications had the same issue.

Again, I think you misinterpreted what I said. I don’t know what else to say about that, but please do at least consider that I’m acting in good faith. You seem to have a very specific belief about my motives, and I don’t think it reflects what I’ve actually written. I really don’t like conflict, and I doubt you do either, so if you still believe I’m trying to create some kind of conspiracy theory, can we please save both of us the stress and just move on from this discussion? If I really was a troll, it’s not like I’d be worth your time. Thank you, and I sincerely wish you well.
